Elio Vera, nel 1968 co-fondatore del CESMA-Centro Esperienze e Studi di Management e Amministrazione, già Presidente del Comitato Tecnico Scientifico di AFORISMA Business School, dal 1995 al 2015 Consigliere ASFOR, Associazione per la Formazione Manageriale, dal 2003 al 2009 componente del Comitato di Accreditamento Master ASFOR, revisore nei processi di accreditamento master per ASFOR, EFMD e CEEMAN. Membro Emerito di EFMD, European Federation for Management Development, ha fatto parte dello steering committee internazionale che dal 1995 al 1998 ha lavorato alla creazione del sistema di accreditamento EQUIS. E' Corporate Reviewer nei Peer Review Team per EPAS Accreditation Process. Dal 2006 al 2009 Consigliere di SIETAR EUROPA, associazione per lo scambio, la ricerca e l’aggiornamento in ambito interculturale, cofondatore di SIETAR Italia nel 2009, è stato per 4 anni Executive Corner Editor nel Comitato di Redazione di CROSS CULTURAL MANAGEMENT, rivista trimestrale edita dalla casa editrice inglese EMERALD destinata alle business schools e alle università di tutto il mondo. Membro di ISPSO-International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organizations, di OPUS-Organisation for Promoting Understanding of Society, di The Renaissance Link, di AIDP-Associazione per lo Sviluppo delle Risorse Umane, è componente del comitato di redazione di “Direzione del Personale” incaricato di reperire contributi innovativi di esperti HR che operano all’estero. Già socio AIF, Associazione Italiana Formatori, ne è stato per molti anni consigliere nazionale, per 3 anni vice presidente nazionale e per 6 anni presidente di AIF LOMBARDIA. Co-fondatore e già presidente di ETDF-European Training and Development Federation. Nel 2013 cofondatore di APAFORM, ne è attualmente consigliere.

Elio VERA studied Philosophy and Psychology at the University of Milan. He spent 20 years working in marketing in multinational companies such as HENKEL, UNILEVER, CPV Colman Prentis & Varley, YOUNG & RUBICAM and 3C-International Chemical and Cosmetic Co. - In 1968 cofounder and partner of CESMA Executive Education based in Milan. He has worked as a consultant on organisational topics in Bulgaria, Peru, Russia, Spain, and Switzerland. He specialises in Group Relations focusing on the analysis of group relations and organisational development according to the Tavistock Model, in particular the study of Authority, Leadership and Innovation. Attended the 3 levels of the Tavistock GRCs at the Leicester University (A, B and Training Group). Since 1998, he has worked with the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust and the Il Nodo group in organising the annual GRC in Italy, called the “ALI-Arona Conference”. He is also consultant for transition processes in SMEs, especially family businesses, and in intercultural coaching. In 1996 on behalf of AIF, the Italian Association of Executive Trainers, co-founded ETDF, the European Training and Development Federation, and from 1994 to 2015 has been a Member of the Board of ASFOR, the Association of the Italian Schools of Management, in charge of the International Relations and the research on “Diversity in the Workplace”. He is Emeritus member of EFMD, the European Federation for Management Development and is a Peer Reviewer for EFMD-EPAS, CEEMAN and ASFOR MBAs accreditation processes.  He is also member of ISPSO and OPUS,  He has been Executive Corner Editor in the Editorial Team of CROSS CULTURAL MANAGEMENT, published by EMERALD,  with the aim  to reinforce links between the academic and the corporate worlds. He specialised in training to no Italian expatriates on the Italian Culture in general and in the Italian management way in particular.
